Ok, this is unusually abstract for me. I'm not sure if it comes through here or not, but the gold pigment is really strong, so a little goes a long way. It's an encaustic painting, that may become a diptych.

Wow- it's beautiful Heather- so simple, but very emotive. Gold is hard to capture in a photo, isn't it? I had the same issue w/ the gold leaf I used. (I really related to your post about wanting a new camera!) Anyway- great work- truly! -m
